The project

Manchester City needed a show to celebrate one of the most successful seasons in the club's history, winning the Premier League, the Carabao Cup and the Community Shield in the same year. The brief called for a visual spectacle worthy of the occasion, synced to the music of Oasis, the iconic Manchester band whose anthems have soundtracked the city for decades.

My role

As lead designer on the project at Crucial FX, I handled creative direction, storyboarding, 3D graphics, animation and rendering end to end. My key scenes included a stadium flythrough, a football crashing through frame, and the climactic logo reveal, all timed and synced to the music.

The result

A full season celebration show for one of world football's biggest clubs, delivering a moment of genuine spectacle for City fans at the end of a historic treble-winning campaign.
